James Evans Visuals was launched in 2022 by myself after taking the plunge and going Freelance in Photography and Videography at the age of 24. Having been behind a camera for almost 10 years, and studying media production at Coventry University in 2015. I moved to London taking on a number of Social Media and videography jobs before setting up my own business. I specialise in high-quality photography and videography services for a range of clients whether that may be corporate, sports or wedding clients. I will put my passion and heart into every project with my biggest motivation receiving 5-star feedback from happy clients.

I am based in north London but am happy to cover the UK and further afield which can all be discussed in the planning stages of your project. My editing services are not location dependant, so these are available to clients anywhere in the world!
-
I am a sole trader and so every project will be personally created by myself. From planning to shooting and editing.
-
Throughout the whole project, you will have full contact with me. Emails, phone calls, video calls, WhatsApp messages or even meeting in person over a coffee. You will decide how much contact you have throughout the project.
-
Yes, I can. I offer full video and photographic editing services using industry-standard software. Rates are £25/hour or included in selected packages. You can book editing at the same time as your videography/photography or separately at a later stage.
-
Yes, you can make a booking up to 24 hours beforehand. However, do be aware it is subject to availability and my diary can get busy! So, I recommend booking at the earliest opportunity. This also helps give me a full understanding of the project and avoid hasty last-minute instructions.
-
No Problem! You can cancel your booking up to 14 days afterwards for a full refund. If however, I have already started work or there are less than 48 hours before the project’s start time, an admin fee will apply. In all other cases, you can change your booking without penalty, subject to the availability and cost of any upgrades requested.
-
I always strive to deliver clients' work as fast as possible, but depending on how busy I am, a private online gallery will be made available for download no later than 6 weeks after the shoot date.
-
When you book me, I will give you a completely personal experience with phone/video calls and a number of other contact routes to fully understand your needs and ideas for your project. From here I will be working on your project with you until completion.
-
Yes, I send all potential clients a contract before any work starts which they can read through and sign once happy. Alongside this, I ask for a 25% deposit to fully confirm your booking.
-
You can book a number of different creative services from me. This includes photography, videography, photo editing, video editing, drone operation and printing services.
-
Visit my contact page to send an enquiry straight to my email and I will get back to you as soon as possible to discuss your project details, pricing and availability.
-
I can offer this but it involves hiring a separate dedicated professional from my select list of professional contacts. I don't compromise standards by 'multitasking' roles. As tempting as it sounds, the results are never as good or reliable. For professional standards, it's essential to be fully focused on each individual role.
-
I offer my photography and videography services for £90/hour. This is available across all projects with the exception of weddings. There are packages available in which you can book with editing included.
-
I offer my editing services for £25/hour. Using the Adobe Creative Suite I have all the apps to allow me to professionally edit any projects you may have. Editing is also included in all of the package deals which is ideal for clients who don’t want to manage lots of different elements.
-
I offer clients my drone services for £130/hour. This will produce stunning aerial photography and video for you, of course, subject to flight location planning restrictions. Drone services can be an added extra to outdoor photography/videography projects.
-
I have a call-out charge of £30 which covers the transport of myself and equipment to the location within London and surrounding areas. If I am travelling further or have to go to multiple locations for the project I will pass this on as an expense.
-
Yes, as a sole trader I have full public liability insurance up to £1 million. I am also able to provide risk assessments and any other standard documentation to support your filming project if requested.
-
My hourly rates are perfect to accommodate exactly what you need for your project. You are in full control of how long you hire me. I can give an estimate on editing time to deliver what you need. Package deals are perfect for clients who want a complete ‘turnkey’ solution for their project without having to manage multiple different elements.

I use a Canon R6 with a number of L Series RF lenses, my favourite of which is the F2.8 70-200mm. For aerial photography, I use a DJI Mini Pro 3 to get a range of incredible bird’s eye view shots. My other equipment includes Nanlite Pavotubes, DJI RS2 Gimbal, and a number of Rode microphones which can either clip onto your person or record from atop the camera.
